Customer requests for new lure fishing products from previously unknown brands are set to increase at a remarkable rate. This is due to state-of-the- art lures, strong yet ultra light reels and robust yet sensitive rods, mostly from Japan, making their way in to Europe. But the real driving force? That’s easy to answer. Our very own British and Irish lure fisherman, who are a switched on bunch, are hungry for the latest products to enhance their fishing. They often have to purchase from abroad which can be a nightmare in itself what with long delays, import/vat fees and courier clearance charges. This is why it’s time Distributors and Tackle Shops alike embraced this rapidly growing market and supplied the lure angling community with what they want.
