🇬🇧: Autumn is, without a doubt, the favorite season for predatory fish anglers. It is the period when fish activity increases considerably as they feed intensively to build up reserves before the arrival of winter. With this thought in mind and taking advantage of a short window of free time, I dashed into the heart of Bucharest for a quick street fishing session.
🇷🇴:Toamna este, fără discuție, sezonul favorit al pescarilor de răpitori. Este perioada în care activitatea peștilor crește considerabil, aceștia hrănindu-se intens pentru a face rezerve înainte de venirea iernii. Cu acest gând în minte și profitând de o fereastră scurtă de timp liber, am dat o fugă în inima Bucureștiului pentru o sesiune rapidă de street fishing.
🇬🇧: The main target: perch. To maximize the thrill of the fight, I opted for absolute finesse and chose the Salty Sensation Neo 63SL-S rod—a true gem with a casting weight of just 3.5g. The setup was completed with a 2000-size reel, PE #0.2 braided line, a 0.14mm fluorocarbon leader, and the indispensable EG Tactical Pouch, packed with the bare essential lures and tackle.
🇷🇴:Obiectivul principal: bibanul. Pentru a maximiza plăcerea drilului, am mizat pe finețe absolută și am ales lanseta Salty Sensation Neo 63SL-S, o adevarata bijuterie cu o putere de lansare de doar 3.5g. Ansamblul a fost completat cu o mulinetă mărimea 2000, un fir textil PE #0.2, un înaintaș de fluorocarbon de 0.14mm și nelipsita borsetă EG Tactical Pouch, ticsită cu strictul necesar de naluci și accesorii.
🇬🇧: On the water's edge, the tactic was simple, but winning: a free rig setup with a minimalist 1.8g weight. As for lures, I relied exclusively on two options: the Evergreen Last Ace 45 and the Evergreen Gimlet. The finesse paid off quickly. Extremely slow retrieves, peppered with long 2–3 second pauses on the bottom, were precisely the trigger the urban predators needed to let themselves be photographed and then safely released.
🇷🇴:Pe malul apei, tactica a fost simplă, dar castigatoare: o montura free rig cu o lestare minimalistă de 1.8g. În materie de naluci, am mizat exclusiv pe două variante: Evergreen Last Ace 45 și Evergreen Gimlet. Finetea a dat roade rapid. Recuperările extrem de lente, presărate cu pauze lungi de 2–3 secunde pe substrat, au fost exact impulsul de care aveau nevoie răpitorii urbani pentru a se lăsa fotografiați și apoi eliberați cu bine.
