Orion The Degel INSIGHT

Di tutta la serie Orion in mio possesso,la Degel e' sicuramente quella che ho piu' utilizzato nel corso di questi ultimi due anni,ricavandosi un ruolo ben preciso e di tutto rispetto.

Il suo compito non e' stato per nulla semplice,perche'si e' dovuta confrontare con la Kaleido Cobra RS,sfida sicuramente ardua,ma che dalla quale ne e' uscita meritatamente vincente.

Nella pesca a shallow crank,ho storicamente sempre usato la Cobra,ma rispetto alla vecchia DG la nuova RS e' risultata molto piu' nervosa nella gestione di questi artificiali e spesso mi ha causato delle slamate vermente fastidiose.

Nonostante di una categoria inferiore rispetto alla Kaleido,questa Orion e' uscita dalla sfida a pieni voti,durate questo anno di prove,i pesci persi sono stati veramete pochissimi e questo e' sicuramente uno dei punti fermi che dovrebbero avere questa tipologia di canne.

La sua azione parabolica,mi e' stata di grande aiuto nella gestione delle catture,concedendomi anche errori,che prima mi erano risultati fatali.

Ovviamente viste le caratteristiche,questo non vi vieta di impiegarla anche con altre tecniche,come l'utilizzo di metal vib,spinner o micro jig,la sua punta estremamente sensibile vi sara' di certo d'aiuto.

Of all the Orion series in my possession, the Degel is certainly the one that I have used the most over the last two years.

Its task was by no means easy, as it had to compete with the Kaleido Cobra RS, which was certainly a tough challenge, but one from which it deservedly emerged victorious.

When fishing for shallow crankbaits, I have historically always used the Cobra, but compared to the old DG, the new RS was much more nervous in the handling of these lures, and often caused me some really annoying unhooking.

In spite of being in a lower category than the Kaleido, this Orion has come out of the challenge with flying colours. During this year of testing, very few fish were lost, and this is one of the cornerstones that this type of rod should have.

Its parabolic action has been a great help in managing catches, even allowing me to make mistakes that had previously proved fatal.

Obviously, given its characteristics, this does not prevent you from also using it with other techniques, such as the use of metal vib, spinners or micro jigs; its extremely sensitive tip will certainly help you.
