Pescando in acque particolarmente basse,come nel lago Trasimeno,quest'anno ho avuto modo di testare questo innovativo crank,specifico per super shallow water.

Le batimetriche del lago sono spesso inferiori ai 50 cm d'acqua,avere la possibilita'di utilizzare un crank,che lavorasse correttamente su pochissima profondita',e'stato per me un vantaggio enorme.

Questa dote,e' una rarita' per tutti gli shallow crank in commercio,e il Cluth Hitter rimane uno dei pochissimi ad aver tutt'ora questa caratteristica unica.

Dotato di sfere di tungsteno ed acciaio inox,il suo rattle e' estremamente acuto,particolarmente adatto se dobbiamo affrontare spot con acqua molto sporca o velata,il suo richiamo sara' irresistibile anche al bass piu' indifferente.

Si e' comportato egregiamente,sia vicino ai canneti e gli arbusti,che sopra agli erbai,grazie alla sua forma compatta mi ha permesso lanci importanti e precisi anche in condizione di forte vento,cosa fondamentale quando ci troviamo ad usare questo tipo di hard bait.

Tenendo la canna alta,abbiamo modo di far lavorare l'esca poco sopra la superficie dell'acqua,mentre abbasandola possiamo arrivare a scendere fino a circa 30cm,questo ci permette di tenere recuperi anche molto veloci, senza avere fastidiosi incagli.

Quest'esca ha un'oscillazione molto pronunciata,quindi vi consiglio di utilizzarla particolarmente nei periodi estivi e autunnali.

Fishing in particularly shallow waters,like Lake Trasimeno,this year I had the opportunity to test this innovative crankbait,specific for super shallow water.

The lake's bathymetrics are often less than 50 cm of water, and having the possibility of using a crankbait that works correctly on very shallow water was an enormous advantage for me.

This feature is a rarity for all shallow cranks on the market, and the Cluth Hitter remains one of the very few that still has this unique characteristic.

Equipped with tungsten balls and stainless steel, its rattle is extremely sharp, particularly suitable if we have to deal with spots with very dirty or cloudy water, its lure will be irresistible even to the most indifferent bass.

It behaved excellently, both near reeds and shrubs and above weeds. Thanks to its compact shape, it allowed me important and precise casts even in strong wind conditions, which is fundamental when using this type of hard bait.

By holding the rod high, we are able to work the bait just above the surface of the water, while lowering it we can get down to 30 cm, which allows us to keep very fast retrieves without having annoying strands.

This bait has a very pronounced swing, so I recommend using it particularly in summer and autumn.
